The number one way to promote your new blog posts is with social media. With Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram it is possible to reach a large audience. The other option for promoting your blog posts is to simply write them well. If you are able to make your blog posts interesting to the masses, then they will be discovered by all users of the internet.
The internet is a vast place with millions of websites and blogs. In order to get the word out about their sites, many bloggers will post on social media sites such as Pinterest or Facebook. These posts can then be re-pinned or shared by other social media users, essentially increasing the site’s audience.
Many bloggers are getting tired of their blog posts not being seen by a large audience. This is because many people unsubscribe to blogs, or they don't see new blog posts in their feed. The best way to make sure that your blog posts get seen by a large audience is to promote them on sites like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. By using these 3 main social media platforms, you can reach more people and give yourself the chance of having your content shared with others.
However, even if you have completed your blog content, the hard work has just begun for you. It is foolish to expect that just posting your article to your blog would result in an increase in readership, even if your piece has the most compelling content on the globe. In order for your new blog pieces to be noticed and read by the proper audience, you must actively promote them via social media channels. Given that building a significant number of email and RSS subscribers may take some time, it is necessary to be more active in the meanwhile to achieve your goals.
To make sure that my posts are viewed by as many people as possible, I follow a set of procedures every time I publish a new post.
1 – Make a tweet about it.
The article title and a link to the blog post, as well as any relevant #hashtags linked to the article topic, are all manually tweeted using the Twitter platform.
2 – Post it to your Facebook profile as well as your page and groups.
Incorporating your blog post URL into your Facebook profile and then posting a custom photo in lieu of the default image taken from your website is an excellent tactic. As a result, you will be able to personalize specific messaging to your Facebook audiences as a result of this. Another indication (or possibly a conspiracy theory?) is that utilizing third-party sharing services such as Hootsuite rather than publishing directly to the site reduces the importance of EdgeRank in the search results. 3 – Incorporate your Google profile and page into the mix as well.
The essay begins with some observations, and I add a call to action when I publish my blog entries on my Google+ channels, which is something I do on a regular basis. Members of any Google+ community may also share their material in such communities if they are also members of that community.
4 – Distribute the content to your LinkedIn profile, company page, and relevant LinkedIn groups.
As I do with my blog posts on Google+ and Twitter, I also share them on my LinkedIn profile, corporate page stream, and LinkedIn group in the same manner. Additionally, I share it to bigger LinkedIn groups that are relevant to the article's topic by posting it in either the discussions or the promotions tabs, depending on the rules of each community.
5 – Keep any blog images on your Pinterest board by following these steps:
Pinterest has shown to be a dependable source of website traffic in recent years. The great majority of my articles, tutorials, and reviews are accompanied by an image or video, which I then Pin in a matter of seconds by clicking on the Pin It icon found on my bookmarks bar on the right side of my screen.
6 – Distribution to “lesser” sites, such as Digg, Delicious, Reddit, Quora, StumbleUpon, and Google Bookmarks, as well as other social media platforms, should be done in step
These social media networks, in my perspective, are “lesser” in the sense that I have accounts on all of them and consistently publish new stuff to them, but I generally participate in no other activities and get very little traffic from them. Because it just takes a few seconds to publish to each of them, I include it into my daily routine when promoting new blog pieces to my audience. I would anticipate that you would have a whole different list of “lesser” sites or networks that you would consider using in your campaign than I do, depending on your industry or geographic location.
7 – Distribute to the Inbound.org mailing list.
I like to think of Inbound.org as a more advanced version of the popular social networking site Reddit. In essence, it performs the same thing as previously, but it looks a lot prettier and has a few more features, such as those that prevent link spamming, among other things.
8 – Create a post on the website JustRetweet.com.
JustRetweet is a community-based sharing network that functions on the premise of incentives to encourage users to share content. In return for individuals sharing the information with their friends and family, others may submit an article or message and pick the quantity of credits they are willing to offer in exchange for them sharing the information with them. Sharing other people's content on social networking platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ earns you points, but you must return those credits in order for others to share your own stuff with them. For example, one feature that makes it helpful is the filter option, which allows you to promote a message only to JustRetweeters who have a certain amount of followers, so preventing spamming of freshly formed accounts. Another feature that makes it useful is the ability to customize the message.
9 – Submit your article to BizSugar for publication.
On BizSugar, it is simple to find and share information that is useful to small business owners, managers, and entrepreneurs without having to sift through a sea of unnecessary content. The information is filtered by the application of the collective knowledge of the audience, which is done through a conventional voting technique.
10 – Make a note of it in your email calendar
A monthly email that I send out contains information on the resources that my readers have deemed to be the most valuable that I have supplied for them over the preceding month. If a particular blog post has received a significant amount of attention and interaction, I will almost certainly include it in the email in order to maintain the momentum.
11 – Social media scheduling and spinning software, Hootsuite, is available for free.
I use Hootsuite to post my blog updates to Twitter on a regular basis, and I find it to be quite useful. This is owing to the fact that followers in different time zones, with differing levels of Twitter “noise,” and on diverse schedules are more likely to miss my tweet. My preferred method is to change the headlines and call to actions on the tweets, and then schedule the new message to be delivered once per few days for the following few weeks or so, so that it only displays on their feeds for a short period of time.
12 – Submit your content to EzineArticles for consideration.
In terms of quality restrictions and link-spamming, EzineArticles is well-known for being quite severe in its enforcement. Although this implies that the articles accepted are of a certain quality and reach a big number of prominent individuals in the business, it does not mean that they are. The time it takes to change your blog piece to meet their requirements may be time-consuming, but the increased traffic and visibility that you get may be well worth the effort. Before sharing your unique work with others, be sure to post it on your blog or website first.
13 – Pay close attention to your social surroundings and offer your knowledge with individuals who are looking for it directly.
The best was saved for last, and it was spectacular! My list of ways to attract visitors includes a number of methods for marketing new blog entries, but this is by far the most successful one. As part of the process of writing a blog post, I use BuzzBundle to listen to the social media world by inserting keywords that are relevant to the article's topic. The BuzzBundle includes a blog post. In the next step, BuzBundle pulls all the information from forums, blogs, and social media networks that is related to these keywords and delivers it to me. In these search results, a big number of people often ask questions or seek information on the material that I have recently released (my keyword and content strategies notify me ahead of time that there is a demand for what I am providing!). In addition to broadening my audience by reaching out to and actively interacting with these folks across the range of social media platforms, doing so also places my stuff in locations where people are already looking for it.
This may seem to be a lengthy list of procedures. After all, it is correct! At the beginning of the process, I have a propensity to spend at least twice as much time advertising my new blog posts as I did write them at the conclusion of the process. However, this is just the beginning of the process. I like to go back over prior posts and promote them again and again to make sure that high-quality content is not neglected when it may be really beneficial to the reader.
It would seem that finishing the remaining of my process will not be as onerous when all of these accounts and processes have been completed. Moreover, it isn't as if you are required to become proficient in every social networking site at the same time. Allow yourself plenty of time to determine which syndication methods are best appropriate for you and your site, and then stay with them.
